Check out our new blog HERE!!
We are so excited! This Blog Hop is the perfect way to introduce the new Stamp Shoppe DT, show off our new blog and our new gallery. If you are familiar with twitter, you can always get yourself setup to get our “tweets” too!
Anyhow, the holidays are going to be here before you know it and so we decided that this Blog Hop Challenge will be to create some Christmas cards and/or projects that you can still get done in time for the holidays.
Interested???? Well, follow the link to our NEW BLOG and once you get there you will have all the blog hop info plus a link to our new CARD GALLERY.
Ho Ho Ho!!!! Does everyone have their Christmas cards done and/or mailed? If you are anything like me then you might be rushing to get those cards made and sent in time for Christmas. And even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, there are other holidays and festivities happening this month that we need to get ready for. And what better way to get motivated to create cards then a blog hop with some yummy prizes??? The new DT will have an opportunity to show you their stuff and we will be revealing the new Stamp Shoppe blog and card gallery on December 1st and have decided that the best way to do that will be with some fun challenges and prizes. So keep checking back in!
Also, I received some of the So Snowy stamps and there are still some of those cute snowmen in stock and if orders are received today they will be mailed tomorrow. For most people that means having the stamps in by Friday…..
Thanks for stopping by,
Wow, we got applications from across Canada and it was so exciting to see the different styles of each designer. I wanted to thank every one who applied, I tried to respond to each application once I received it. I did want to say that the work we received was beautiful but in the end we could only pick two and so without further adieu I would like to introduce you to our new DT…
Actually, Melyssa is away for a few days but we are pretty sure she’s going to say YES 😉
Keep an eye out over the next few days, we will be announcing our new blog and card gallery and there might be some blog candy up for grabs…..
Stampendous Storage Solutions
The storage solutions are now in stock and I must say: they’re awesome! I have my Magnolias stored in the ‘thin’ ones and I keep them all sorted in magazine holders. I labeled the top and so I know exactly which one to reach for (usually LOL). I also stored my loose acrylic stamps and now that they are within arms reach I am able to use them more often. The ‘thick’ and ‘thicker’ sizes are great for wood mounted stamps or other stuff like ink, embossing powder and glitter.
As far as shipping goes, there is no way these can be mailed at the lettermail rate. The storage solutions are very light, but they definitely need a box. If anybody wants to order they can go ahead and do so and either choose the parcel rate, or leave it at in-store pickup and wait for a quote. I will then package up the order and take it to the post office for a quote and then shipping charges can be paid using the ‘extra shipping’ item.
So Jolly/So Snowy stamps
The Christmas stamps are in and going fast, I have already sold out of many of the more popular images. I also ordered some of the ‘So Snowy’ stamps and they have not yet shipped from Magnolia Sweden but I expect it will be soon. Normally it takes a week to get here once they have been shipped. In that same order are some more Magnolia Ink magazines.
Stamp Shoppe DT Call
This is the last week to get your ‘application’ in for our first DT call. Carla and I have been looking closely at every application we get in and are very excited. The deadline is this Friday and the new DT should be announced on Nov 15th. For more details look HERE.
Good afternoon everyone! First I would like to congratulate our winner of the October challenge:
Your card is gorgeous, so glad you participated. Please send me an email with your mailing addy so I can get your stamp in the mail.
Now on to the November Challenge!
I can’t be the only one who has started getting a jump on the Christmas cards; December will be here in no time. So, this month your challenge is to create a Christmas card (or project) using non-traditional colours (i.e. no red/green combos). Isn’t that easy?
And of course, here are the rules:
- you must be a registered user of www.stampshoppe.ca (Canada/USA only);
- create a new card or project using a Magnolia stamp based on the November challenge;
- Upload your card to an online gallery or your blog, please ensure you link us up, or at a minimum, mention this blog challenge. If you do not have a blog or online gallery please email me your submission. We do prefer that our challenges are not combined with other store challenges; and
- Come back to this post and leave a comment or fill out Mr. Linky (below) with the DIRECT link to your card/blog post by midnight EST November 30th.
And as an added bonus, your name will be thrown in the hat twice (for each entry) if you add our store banner to your sidebar and link us up.
Curious as to what’s up for grabs? This ADORABLE snowman stamp (one of Carla’s favourites): Edwin’s Snowman!
Edited to add: I’ll apologize now for ending the challenge early, for some reason when I got up this morning I thought it was November 1st… I’ll blame it on sick kids and lack of sleep. That being said, I didn’t feel right changing anything after I posted a winner so if anybody else posts a card to the October challenge they will get an extra ballot for the November challenge. Thanks for understanding.
Just a quick heads up; the magazine is now in stock. I will be processing pre-orders first (pre-orders will be held for 2 days only), however, orders will continue to be processed in the order they were received. The magazine itself can ship at the lettermail rate (flat rate) with up to 6 stamps or small embellishments. Please contact me if you have any questions,
